- Sony Vegas
- Adobe After Effects

Sony Vegas is the easier of the two but it takes a fair bit of learning to make a good movie. Adobe After Effects is for the pro's and takes ages to learn. Or you could just use Windows movie maker, but have fun making shit movies :) .

I've Sony Vegas 7.0. I find it pretty difficult to edit on and I've never really got the hang of it. I always find myself going back to simpler programs.

Adobe Premiere Pro with After Effects
or
Apple Final Cut Pro.

Ah the joys of working with people who do this stuff as their bread and butter.

Google some tutorials and just keep mucking around with it, Sony Vegas is probably one of the easiest video editing programs out there, so if your having problems with that then maybe get someone else to do it for you.

Edius is another app from Canopus. It's pretty much the same as Premiere.
But I have found that all the windows apps are crap to apples Final Cut. SImple to use, and easy to make something look great.

Youtube has tutorials on ALL apps. do a search there, you'll be surprised at what you find.
