I know it has been done for bikes, but what about other things, what do people wish they had. Im sure every one has something that they look at and just think to them selfs, i wish i owned that
For me it is Paul Allen's ( co-founder of microsoft) boat. Octopus. Its around 90m long. Got 2 helipads. Various tender boats, such as two 70' cruiser. Another 2 submarines, one for research of the deep, and another that is rumored to be able to hold 12 people on the bottom for 2 weeks. Got a pool and spa, just incase the salt water is no good. There is no info on the inside of the boat going round, but there is 60 crew members, 11 of which are x us marines. There is also rumored to be a car garage with 2 or 3 cars and a specailly designed boat to transport the cars to shore. All this comes in at a cool sum of around 200+ millon, and it wont fit inside some of the major ports in the world. For example for those of you who boat around, this boat wouldn't even get close to getting into protected waters on the gold coast it is to long, deep and wide to even fit in port entry. And people say spending 5000+ on a bike is alot.
looks like it would make a great supervillian hide-out.

Not very secretive though.
Wow. That is big enough to be a Giant cruise ship. Is there any photos from the inside?

Good thread.
Mainly, money. Other than that, the motivation to do well at school, the motivation to stop smoking, the motivation to go to school.
A significant other. :(
The more educated and more money you have, the more likely you are to have a partner, and keep them.
Low levels of education or income = higher rates of single/divorce. Especially low education and income....
School + quit smoking (save money) = Money + women.

Heh, as obvious as that is, I never saw it that way.
Thanks.

I wouldn't mind one of those supersonics either...
However, if I could have any amp I'd go a wizard modern classic. Made by angus young's guitar tech, used by angus and a whole other bunch of great guitarists, including cheney from the living end.
Also... one of the Chris Cheney signature white falcons that are getting released soon.

Oh yeah, Cheney is very seriously underrated. His stuff is brilliant, and very technical considering he sings as well.

Rick St. Pierre, brilliant amps.
White Falcon eh. Is it the model with the signature out-of-proportionality to the person. They make people look like midgets. But my god are they good guitars, love Gretsches.
I'm really hankerin for a good Fender amp and guitar combo for that proper blues sound. Gonna hit the blues club next year for some good times. Not sure whether to go Strat or Tele though.
I'd be wanting a Lotus Elise over any M3. I like my oversised gokarts.

As for things that I would like to have I always keep this list to things I will actually own one day.
7ft Alcocks English pool table
E&S DJR 400
Guzzi Le mans or Ducati sport (cafe racer)
Lucchese Aligator (belly cut) Classics

Keep an eye out for a circa 1980's fender bassman. They sound brilliant, and if you're willing to ship one from america you can get them damn cheap. (ie, cheaper than a brand new equivalent)
And as for the falcon, haha, only if you're malcolm young

Funny you should mention that in terms of personal yachts
"The Sultan of Brunei is understood to own numerous one-off luxury cars, his own personal Boeing 747 complete with gold-plated furnishings, six smaller planes, two helicopters, and a theme park worth $1bn.
His younger brother, Jefri, whom the Sultan introduced to polo, has for decades been one the world's most notorious playboys. He is rumoured to have converted a passenger jet to carry polo ponies and had gold-plated toilet brushes installed. He once owned a 50-metre yacht called Tits, replete with tenders named Nipple 1 and Nipple 2, and reputedly wore pornographic watches that showed a couple copulating on the hour."
