Hey all,
Just arrived in Sydney for the weekend and want to go for a quick blast tomorrow. Am staying in Baulkham Hills, so something in this part of Sydney would be good.
Suggestions would really help a XC rider itching to get out!!!

Check the NSW section of the Watering Hole mate. Also check out Manly Dam while you're in town, and this (http://forums.farkin.net/showthread.php?t=114211) thread. Even if you aren't able to mett up with a group, simply park at Manly Vale Public School (corner of Gipps and Sunshine Streets, Manly Vale) and follow the trail clockwise, you won't regret it.

Thanks for info. Went for a ride at Manly dam and enjoyed it. Quite rocky and technical in places. I was riding my mates XTC which was a fair handful at times. Especially after raining all night on Friday!!
I'm back in Melbourne now, but will go back to the dam next visit to Sydney.

Ive just recently got into riding and while searching for trails on the net I came across this site www(dot)trailflix(dot)com(dot)au which has some detailed info on trails in sydney and further. It even has video footage of some of the more popular runs which is very helpful if you have never been their before.

Sent you a PM ... if your up this way somewhat regularly, give me a bell a couple weeks prior and we can arrrange a spin.

I can sort you for lifts and stuff, presumming your staying relatively close to the CBD.

Well worth a visit down mtb1611's way especially if you like your riding a little more natural then MD.
