This is a pic off pinkbike of a drop me and some mates made in narremburn, sydney. its about 10 ft depending on were you land. unfortunatly the council has taken the area back, apparently we "ruined 3 years of bush regeneration".

yea sorry bout the quility, i didnt take it, and that isnt me doing it. my mates took it.

it took a while to get right though, u see those small roks on the left there, well i was the first person to hit the drop and i landed on those.
i survived though

i know where that is. just oppostite willoughby leisure center!!! i used to go there hepas, though the damn council has covered the area in mulch. i never did the 10ft, as it quiet crazy but there was a 5t one in the corner, which if you tried could be 12ft, if you had enough speed. i went slowly :o

That drop is around 10-12 feet if you hit it perfectly and land a meter or so before the path. They have now covered the takeoff and landing with logs, and bark chips, numerous stakes and signs are we were told we could be heavily fined if we continued doing the drops around that area. It is no way near 18 ft, unless you overshoot by a long shot and land it flat on the path.

Lets hope we can get some more substantial dirt at our new spot, not that semi-crushed boulders.

trust me its more than that, you land near the bottom of the picture (if you go fast), its was quite a drop, but it was so smooth it only really felt like 5 foot.

mate, its not ur spot, u havnt even put any effort into the area, when we were building there today you didnt even help.

the spot is originally mine, ryans and johns. dont take credit for the area. you didnt even talk to the council workers about using the area.

The spot does not belong to you, or Ryan, or Jono. I said 'we' being us as a whole. I did think it was rather uncool to leave my friend standing up there, while i go and dig.

I never had the oppertunity to talk to the council workers about the area, and i only knew about it one afternoon when John and that older worker were talking about it.

I had written to the council many a time about getting an area to build rythems, specificaly in the Reserve. 'We' were extremely lucky to be given an area to build. Would i be such an ass if 'we' had been given an area i aksed for? How bout you quit crying about whos area it is.

I was sitting up there yesterday. Truth be told, if you hit it slowly its only about 5ft. Its a deceptive drop. But at the mo its covered in logs, stakes and woodchips :cry: . I hope swim comes and cleans it up, so we can hit it up when there arnt police waiting to fine our asses.

i reffere to it as our land because we were the ones that negotiated with the guy and getting dirt down there.

we made another nice drop in the new area, cant miss it.

PS. dont go and tell heaps of ppl about the area because we dont want heaps of randoms going there, its anoying when you come and someone has build a randon ramp were you were going to build stuff... any who...

Im not sure who told thoes guys about the area. I wont tell anyway about it, except for the other guy i ride with evry arvo. He probably wont it it, but atleast he'll dig. The guy who you saw on the weekend dosnt know any toher bikes. Strictly a weekend warrior.
