Yeah Nathan it is Jareds beast...now mine :D I do ride a fair bit at Lefty in the arvo's...I can't usually make the club rides cause of work, which sucks but oh well.

I used to go on them ALL the time a ccouple of years ago.

Sugino cracks...nothing special. Yeah the headtube has been rewelded and twice as strong as it was before! :)

the actual weld probably is stronger than the original weld. a good weld is at least as strong as the parent metal. But the heat of the welding process should have destroyed the heat treating in the surrounding metal. So the weld itself won't crack, but if anything was going to crack (and i'm not saying it will) it will be the metal immediately adjacent to the new weld.
