Has anyone else been approached (PM'd) from various "members" from Indonesia offering to buy their goods? I have 3 offers so far for my frame, all sounding fairly sus!?!
Just to help the broader farkin community these all of these members have had 0 posts and have speak "berry good engrish", if you get what I mean.
Is there a section/thread somewhere to name and shame these people?
Also, I think there should is there some sort of security against people PM'ing and replying to For Sale ads. This will help to curb this dodgey behavior.

Also there is a system to ensure a bit of security in the 'For Sale' section. You need to apply for trading access oviously but yer it doesnt stop them from PMing you, its ok when there buying cause they pay you and you only send it when the money clears
I had one just today from Bali
He was explaining how he could buy my frame and he knew someone who lived in Geelong so they could bring it back for him.
In the past I've also had a guy from Bali offering for me to buy stuff off him and it was cheap, like real cheap
Wonder if these guys are legit or just another user of the system

There's also the odd post in someone's threads trying to sell computer game money or something along those lines...

I got a PM a asking if I would post to Indonesia, I said yes, then I quoted him an over exaggerated post cost...
Never heard from him again.. Funny that

What does that prove?
If he was a fake buyer, a high postage cost would not bother him as he in the long run would not be giving you any money. Whereas it would scare off a real buyer who did not want to pay such high costs to their legitimate location.

I knew he was a spammer because he also messaged me through eBay trying to sell me cheap electronic goods...

Yes just not sure what offering a high postage achieved (apart from maybe scaring him off, which I doubt).
