I just got a random PM from this guy asking me if I wanted to buy a hardtail?!?! Apart from the fact that I already own one, why would I get picked out of random to be offered a bike!?!
Has this happened to anyone else also? Maybe this guy should be warned or banned if it's a bot..
Cheers,
Theo

Could be a simple mistake.. ie.. PM'ed wrong member
As far as I am aware smithy888 is a member from Adelaide with a hardtail frame for sale.
Have you replied to his PM ?

may i suggest changing the title of your thread...
Why is that?
I was online, I got a random PM from someone asking if I wanted to buy a bike.
I was wondering if the message was indeed a random, or whether he went and PM'ed all users online at the time to ask.
I don't believe I need to change the topic title, I'm not blaming anyone; merely questioning what happened.
I didn't reply back to the bloke because I wasn't sure if it was either;
1. A bot
2. Spam to those users who were online at the time
In summary, I am still yet to believe that I need to change the thread title. It's an enquiry, not an attack. Those who deem it an attack are obviously unaware of the way I posed the question.
Cheers,
Theo
