the stance forks are supposidly a watered down version of the shermans.... they will go for much cheaper and a good pricepoint....
i think ti will be 8" possibly with interlany adjustable travel to 6". manitou fork s have always sat higher due to the reverse arch
those forks and rear shocks are awesome!!
Anyone have news on the Fox fork release date yet?
Whats with black stanctions? is it the cool thing for '04 '05? Personally i hate it although chrome stanctions are worse! Sooooo cheapo looking.

I read somewhere (when 888's were released) that it has to be black because thats the colour of the coating that makes it nice and slippery (minimal friction).

manitou fork s have always sat higher due to the reverse arch can you clarify what you mean here? what does the reverse arch have to do with how high it sits? excuse my ignorance

Looks like he picked up some sponsorship from Uncle Sam's Surplus store.
That gear would be cool for stealth riding and scaring walkers... :)

oops didnt notice that
is there only one sort of stance fork, or is it like the shemans and have single crowns and different versions like firefly and flick
theres a 6" single crown stance coming out aswell, QR and 1.125 steerer
i thought according to manitou you couldnt make a 6inch SC freeride fork without using 1.5
in the end it doesnt matter aslong as its affortable, which the stance line is meant to be
shorty

That 4 Way Air Springer Swinger is nothing new...it's in manitous current line up!! So what's the deal? Does it have new features or does it weigh less?

the reverse arch allows for less room for compression of the fork or else the arch will hit the down tube .... so a longe stantion/fork length is needed... hence shermans alwasy sit higher than any other fork

yes its the same
the Shermans do have long stantion length showing but it is because the lowers are very short . There not any bigger than any other fork they just look like it. Mine are the same length as Marzzochi's with the same amount of travel.
