hey, i might be interested, what sort of rear shock is that, how adjustable is it? does the linkage work by pulling down on the shock? how much do you think it would be to send it to canberra?

The rear shock, is a Rock Shox pull shock. Not sure on the model name, iirc it is something along the lines of 'coupe deluxe' or 'super deluxe'. It has adjustable rebound (via knob on top of shock) and preload (by winding the spring). The shock was rebuilt just before i got the bike as the seals had been blowen. I've left it on about max rebound setting ever since i got it and has been reasonably stiff for me (85kg). I'm pretty sure you can get a better pull shock (with piggyback reservior) but they are rare as hens teeth now.
Yep, the linkage works by pulling the shock down. The new Yeti DH9 has the same linkage although the swingarm is designed so that a push shock is used. The linkage was designed by someone called Mert Lawwill. Do a search in google if you're curious as to how well it works.
Sending it to Canberra, not sure on costs. I'd probably get a big rectangular bike box from my local bike shop and pack the bike up in that. Then courier would be the best option as i think Auspost don't take parcels that big. Taking a rough guess, probably around 50 buks to send via courier to Canberra.

Maybe, i'd prefer to keep it as a whole bike though. Depends what you're after. I'll wait and see if there's any interest in the next week first.

I think it's a medium. It's definately not a small. I can take some measurements if you wish.

Not really after any trades. I can go a little lower on the price but not by much. Don't want to split the wheels up either as the ringle/hope hubs are a 5 bolt disc pattern specifically designed for hope discs.
