Having been majorly involved with track work on trails at the Blue Tier and Hollybank (North east TAS bike heaven areas), and constant pressure from yours truly 8) , mum purchased a 2008 Specialized Stumpjumer Elite to ride the trails she'd built, and anywhere else of course!

This means I can also get my XC mode going when she isn't using it! :p

OMFG, my jealous gene is being expressed as I look at that bike.....
I've never met your mum, but, from that bike I have to agree, your mum does rocketh hard
edit: just focussed on those peddles..... the only thing that needs instant replacement on that bike, in spanky's sh*t house opinion.. which is worth less than second hand toilet paper....

Those pedals are temporary as mum hasn't got shoes yet. She has some Crank Brothers Smarty's to put on when she can use them.

As if you could possibly get a close female person (in your case, your mum) to get her own bike!!! My girlfriends terrified of mine, "The wheels are too big and scary" and will only ride my BMX instead. And even when she rides that she falls off over a gutter and scrapes up the freshly painted forks...

Your Mum Rocks, from all of us here at Farkin.net.
That's one less mum sitting worried about her precious firstborn, and one more buzzing your rear tyre while yelling 'pin it ya fairy!' :D
