The drop is not that sketchy, used to be way worse when it was made all out of rocks and the rocks used to move when you hit it. The sketchy part is the chute just before that.

I've only stacked once of that, when i hit it a little fast, overcleared the downramp by a meter and stacked big time. I have a nice scar on the inside of my leg from it as a constant reminder

seen that drop many times but have never managed to hit it, don't know why coz its not all that big. i guess the landing must have put me off or sumthin.

I'll have to have another look at it when i'm out there next, although i'll be on a HT this time but we'll see.

Good work on that one mate, bout time we got some OBR pics up, we need to do somethin about the closing of the tracks tho.
Any1 for a petition??

Im in for the petition.

I have a video of OBR, CR and red hill but it's huge. Like 1/2 a dvd, i don't think anyone would want to download it

That drop is fine, way easier than it looks. That is one of the best parts of the track, going down that skety chute, ride up the 2m vertical rock face, off the drop and down to the road gap. Sweet........

haven't had the balls to hit the rd gap yet, have you tried the drop to the left of the rock drop? It's a roll down but there's a kicker at the top so you can launch the lot.

I so want to check out those tracks but I'm donning the lycra and doing my best XCer impersonation at the 8hr this weekend

Now to convince the girly into a side trip to san remo while we're up there

Jaskel

yeah that road gap is concerning...I was looking at going up there and building a sort of platform thing so u just roll off and land about 8/10 feet out from the platform..nice and smooth.

Re the drop off the side of the rock drop, I aint seen it..I may have to check it out next time.

Ill c u up at Lithgow on Sunday.

Cheers

J
