Hello there Farkin community!

I've been noticing this quite a lot lately (although its been happening since this forum started) people that start threads and spell in correctly using MSN language etc.
Most of these people are new to the forums and have only skipped over the rules without really properly reading them, and this annoys me, but not as much as all the reply posts which most go something like this...

Omg get sum pikaturs of teh valve caps your going to put on it.

Its not funny, It has been done before and no one thinks you're cool for posting that.

I think it's just ridiculous and can easily be fixed with a - " This forum has rules which state that words need to be spelled out completely so next time you post just watch out for that mate!"

Or something along the lines of that.

Valid point, but in most cases, the excessive use of msn quotations is used under a sarcastic tone, and is essentially writen like that to give it more of an effect...

Though, when people use it under a serious of just normal way... It is rather annoying..!

That's what I was pointing out, the sarcastic tone just gets annoying and it makes the people that do it just as bad as the people that always spell like that.

Everyone has different tastes mate, just because you don't find something funny doesn't mean the whole world has to agree. When a n00b speaks MSN language, and the responses followed are all "Omg get sum pikaturs of teh valve caps your going to put on it", I find that funny because it's my kind of sarcastic dry humor. Some people find jokes about throwing babies into fans funny, I personally don't, but who cares - we're all individuals.

I don't understand why it bothers you so much, WHO CARES if someone writes "lol valvae capts bbq", does it really inconvenience you that much? Personally, when I read something on the net that annoys me I just click the button on the top right of my screen which looks like this [ X ]
