Hey, well i've been out of riding for quite some time, ~18months of irregular riding and no bike that was "mine". It was pretty hard after riding for 5 years before that. Anyway selling all my bikes was a big mistake! never ever do it..... So i searched high and low for the cheapest Dirt jump bike i could find, took awhile but here it is!

Spec:

Frame: Dabomb Xlr-8r, i was told its Wade Boots' old bike!
Forks: 2002 Marzocchi Dirt Jumpers (for sale: see sig)
Front wheel:Alex Dp 32 on sealed hub.
Rear wheel: Dice SMO on formala bolt up hub.
Brake: Hayes HMX with shimano lever.
Drive train: Deore shifter, LX derailuer, e-13 SRS chainguide.
Cranks:Funn cromo cranks on weird bmx style BB.
Cockpit:Big wide generic OS bars bolted to an icredibly dodgy Titec stem.

Comments: Well, it rides great! prefect on the dirt jumps but probably a little heavy for street riding. Forks are a little soft for hard landings but feel awesome, as a whole the bike is pretty bomb proof which is what i need as i re-learn spins and what not. I will be getting rid of the brake asap, and i was planning on getting a better fork-but im not too sure now, it seems pretty nice. The pedals are dabomb pedals and have THE biggest pins i have ever seen which are perfect for me!. Not bad for price i paid.

Haha i remember back in the day when NO-ONE had SS... anyway this bike needs gears because of two reasons: I spent 5 solid hours experimenting with 4 different chains, 5 different rear cogs and 3 front chainrings, no combination worked. and the second reason is that its got an 07 derailuer in brand new condition and an E-13 chainguide... so i might aswell use them.

I'll most likely get front and rear hydrualic brakes asap, but theres no point whacking on 2 mechanical brakes as they dont stop for shit. (hayes)

Half link chain saves the day once again! Also got a weight for the spec below: 13.5kgs fkn not bad! considering its got the heaviest tubes i've ever seen + smo + cromo cranks etc.

Thanks,
yeh its Darshans old bike, he was happy to get rid of it, coz it was blocking room for his 5 other pimped out bikes, haha.

Didn't like it at first but now that I've looked again it looks pretty sweet. Good job.
