Just wondering how many guitarists are on Farkin. I've been playing for about 7 1/2 years. I have a 97 Gibson Les Paul Studio, a Peavey Predator with a Seymour Duncan humbucker and a Carson Crickmore acoustic.
I'd love to know who else plays Guitar and what they use.
Thanks
James

yep, got one here..
I've been playing for about 6 years now I think, I stopped playing about year ago for some reason tho.
Guitars in the house include:

Epiphone Les Paul hollow body
Eston (I think) Bass
Fender Squire bullet
B.C Rich electric
Yamaha steel string acoustic (forget what model, it sounds bloody good but)
Yamaha Nylon acoustic

Various 10wt amps and a 65wt Marshall valve state amp.

I mostly play the steel acoustic cause its sounds unreal and is great to play. I play mostly metal and a lot of classical stuff and old Zepplin/Hendrix..
really should start playing more..

Yep been playing for a while now. Got a Gibson Les Paul Gothic and a Yamaha acoustic which is really nice. The Gibsons beautiful but these days I spend more time playing the acoustic, dont want to wake the baby afterall.

The question should be more along the lines of; "who doesnt play guitar here?"

Anyway, I have an ashton guitar (nothing cool, does the job), which runs into a nice Boss ME-50 pedal to a Peavy Studio Pro 112.

I can fumble my way through a few diddies, but it's not a serious thing. As for what we've got in the house well off the top of my head there's:
a Fender strat, a tele, a Les paul, a Casino, an Ibanez Flying Vee copy (complete with funny looking custom paint and different pickups), a Maton F series accoustic, the old Fender accoustic that I tool around on, two classicals, a Gibson Grabber bass, and possibly others that I don't know about yet....... I'll get more details on the intersting ones when the ol' man is awake.

As for amps and stuff, I have no idea, all I know is there's too many of the damn things; a few Fenders, a couple of Marshalls and I think there's an Orange and a Peavy and a Mesa in there somewhere as well. Of course there's also some of these things laying around *shameless plug*:

i have a mate joe (joeker) that has an acoustic, and he has brake and gear cables for the strings, and he cut off the bridge and moved it way back down towards the end so it (might) sound better. haha
