Verdict:
- the Gemini is bloody awesome! I probably need a weaker spring so if your looking at buying one, make sure you can get your right spring size, cause I'm having trouble getting mine! i'll prob end up hopefully getting one from US especially made..but we'll see!
- Boxxer world cups are super plush! soo soo much better than my old race!
- e13 are quite and have neva de-railed bloody nice...
- chase is fully sick! i had all the spec before, just got frame and xt cranks of mike turns 2nd hand!
- overall the chase didnt cost that much!
- e13 from US is $150AUS  i got it for chase
- Jekyll is really nice! a heaps good bike...you can just get out there are ride...you dont need to worry about anything..itz pretty strong, I have done a fair bit of trail riding on it! and itz soo much fun! i also race XC and find it good enough! it makes XC rides FUN  though if i were only racing i would have got a hardtail

ooh well hope you like em! I do 8)

Thanks to Bike Addiction for sorting me out! i hope i'm allowed to say that :? well tell me if i'm not!

Hahahh except the WC's when they are cold ehh jono  . The gemini is a pimp mobile. It pedals like it has a few inches front and back and it weighs less than my hardtail  . Maby once he learns to run proper pedals i might be able to properly ride the thing.

they are some of the sickest bikes, i dont have as much interest in the jekyl, but the chase and gemini are soo sweet. i love the bikes.

another cool thing, the gemini has cedric gracia's signature on it (and its in gold too!!!!!!!!)

nah..cause my time is zip tied to the frame....and wobbles a bit....but is still firm...so if you crash it just slides out of the way! and then bouces back haahah....

Woah dude very pimpalistic, i like u're collection... *someone has a cannondale fetish* But who wouldn't eh? They make great bikes.

I dig the jekyl, very nice bike - But the chase is the one thing that catches my eye. Very sexy and stealthy looking. I reckon the 02 z1's looks hella sexy on it, the older z1's were real nice.

Wheres cedrics sig on the gemini? How'd u manage to get that?

Gimme gimme gimme. I have had my Chase for three months now and I FARKIN LOVE IT!!! When I deliver more of MY drugs to MY customers (dear Mr. police officer, this is a joke and one in very bad taste at that. If you raid my house, all that you will find is some out of date baroccas and detol. Don't waste your time :) ) I will pick myself up a gemini too.

Keep your Jekyl tho, my Felt does just fine.

Sweet stable of bikes you have there....very impressive Gemini i must say....to top it off, an e-13 reducer cup with an internal headset to bring the stack height down and it would be an even wicked-er rig!

also, why only a front brake for the chase?

1stly: the chase frame looks like it has being dented in that foto..but it hasnt..itz the frame at the top of the tubing itz fatter and then it get skinner...at one point... so thatz where it looks like itz dented...but it isnt 8)

2ndly: i have a back brake for it now! the same, xt 6" hydro! i just hadnt put it on....in the foto! cause i needed it to be bleed....and all!

hope that clears anything up...

um...my LBS have the Gemini DH frame in stock! itz $4000 rrp, I dont know exactly wat I paided for it in the end, cause I got the bike built up; and then got an overall discount! which was fair big!!!

it doesnt seem to hard to get the gemini DH frames in..cause like my LBS has another one in, so shouldnt be to hard! :?

The US RRP IS$1999(including tax state tax etc) which converted at todays rate is around $2950.
Surely someone is havin a go at someone here.(not you man, the system)
No Cannondale frame is worth $4000AUS.

No Cannondale frame is worth $4000AUS.

but bikes are fairly expensive in AUS so you cant expect much! :? personally when you compare it to a bullit or something..like frames! i would go a gemini! they are farking awesome!!! maybe a bit of $$$$$ but remember whats the most importnat thing on the bike?? the frame! who cares if u have x0 or x.7, they shift! what really matters is like the frame, forks, brakes (in my opion) so thats why i spent a bit more $$$ on those things! and lacked spending $$$ in the rear mech.... :P

True. I guess it comes down to personal preference.
Just....for me....if I was going to lay that much down on a DH frame I'd go and spend a few more $'s on a SantaCruz V10 (not new 05 model yuk!)
I know that this comparo may seem like chalk V's cheese but we are talking about both being true DH frames.
I love Cannondales but not enough to justify $4000 on a frame that is a little diff from their normal freeride frames.
Just the same love your Gem very much!

ye...thatz cool..everyone has their own opions! i was thinking of a v10! but then i was like....weight, and do i need that much travel! cause i'm like 58kg....so fair light! and now with these 6way swingers, you can sort them out...so they are soft as, at the first part of travel! and then hardern up through to the bottom out! :!: :!: or wateva....and also the weight! i wanted something light to throw around on the DH tracks and all! and it has cedric's signature on it! lol... :D but nah..the v10 is awesome! just not the bike for me! if i was bigger, and heavier and my lbs stocked them, i would get one!
