That's one of the cleanest urban commuter rigs i've seen, nice work.

The only thing that sticks out are the rims, paint them black and it'll be stealth bike pride :)

Sick man!!
It looks like it'd be a blast to ride!

It's a Surly hub, and I'm pretty sure a Surly tensioner aswell..

the photos look nice, but at first they appeal to be in an old school style. the workshop behind looks quiet messy, but meh, who cares.

the rims stick out but they`re farkin wide as hell, got them both for 25 bucks and they go well with the colour skeem..puttin a sealed race face headset on soon(yellow) ... the rear hub is a surly single speed disc brake hub.surly singlator.
its a norco sting i think.. i painted it quite a while ago...
the work shop welll try living with7 people with about 15 ppl coming over every bloody day party`s all the time and feel like cleaning the workshop every 2days.... lots of fun though.

one speed there`s no sub for it... this bike is super quick

Have you had any issues with the Singulator? Dropped chains etc.... are they hard to set up?

Grass hopper
21-06-2004, 08:23 PM
nah man farkin easy if you know a really good meachanic he could set it up without using a singlator... just need right cogs... :?
yeah it`s really easy if you don`t have a tension seeker go for a (da bomb) singlator as they are about 35 retail and the surly are 150rrp
never droped a chain though no probs at all ...
one thing though with the surly you can make the seeker push up or down(with a simple change of a spring)p.s read the instructions b4 doin this braking the spring not a good idea...
surly is the only seeker that does that i think....

i`ve got to get a nicer one speed frame damn vertical dropouts...
thats set up pretty nicely though.. does any one know someone selling a cheap frame with horizontal dropouts... something like the norco 250..

the best time to look at this bike is roughly around 1am coz the paint is a flat black, and at night the stars look like they light up..... sexy
