Just cruising through my music on my computer today (doing some serious procrastination) and stumbled across some old Grinspoon including the Guide to Better Living album.

Honestly think this must be some of the best music to ride to, listen to pre-ride or put on a video but what elso do you guys reckon.....??? And no Doof Doof isn't considered riding tunes!!

I think it all depends on your personal taste. Any music that normally gets you going or pumps you up is gonna be good for riding. That music will be different for different people.

For DH, Ministry "Just one fix" or "Jesus built my hotrod". If you need to get down FAST, then Napalm Death does the DK's "Nazi Punks"...

anything hard and fast. Dead kennedy's, children of bodom and Iron maiden are my faves at the moment.

My only exceptions to that rule are radiohead, tool and a perfect circle

pearl jam - anything of vs. ten or yield (given to fly'd be really cool as soundtrack for rhythm jumps i reckon)
kryptonite by 3 doors down for anything

i've always thought instrumental stuff (like on kill bill soundtrack) would be pretty cool for soundtracks, but for actual riding i reckon triple j hottest 100 vols 1 to 7 would get you pretty pumped - good variety and overall quality

All your favorite bands suck!

I mean Downsyde, That black betty song, 3 doors down, That 'bodies' song by drowning pool (no it's not extreme, just because it's in XXX, wrestling and every other hardcore movie doesn't mean it's cool. The bands are great ifyour a 13 year old girl stuck in a rebel trend.

REAL riding music is by Downset, 96 decibel freaks and Dime Store Hoods....all washed down with some stuck mojo........and thats the final word.

Ummm I don't know what your trying to say there, are you implying that I listen to 3 doors down? I thought it was obvious they were the standard for 13 year old female rebels.
Or were you agreeing with me?

but then you called me a groupie....I might be a simple hyper-cchicken but I'll be finger licked if I could understand that.

Either way....my bands rule. I have the best taste in music ever.
