no joke.
iRiver and Diver Entertainment Systems (DES) introduced a new MP3 player series H2O Audio DV- based on iFP-300T products. According to the press releases, players can work at down to 60m depths. Just imagine divers with aqualungs, water polo player, etc.
The novelties will have up to 512MB memory (up to 16 hours of 64Kbps Windows Media music). A single AA battery will provide you with up to 24 hours of music. Besides, FM tuner integrated into iFP-300T remained in the novelties as well.
As for the cooperation, Diver Entertainment Systems developed the new body for player and earphones, while iRiver sales department initially came up with idea to raise sales volumes with such a product.
Depending on memory capacity, H2O Audio DV players will cost $350 to $650. (US$)

I'm thinking it is a case, you can see the outline of the player and the 'IRIVER' text through it beside the 'H2O' sticker on the outside.

water polo player, etc.

no way in hell could you play polo with that. it would be ripped to shreds faster than my bounce shot makes it into the goals.

however i reckon it would be awesome for training (lap swimming) and surfing. only prob i can see with surfing is the headphones would keep getting sucked off... but i'm gettin a hoody coz its too cold atm, so that would make it sweet.

i want.

doubt it would work with scuba.
They often rate things to 60m etc. depths but do not pressure test. At 60m you have 7atm (atmospheres) of pressure pushing in on you and many depth rated instruments have to also be pressure rated.

It's be cool for surfing and lap swimming but you have to wonder what the sound quality would be like once submerged and ears are full of water.
As for you bounce shot iLikeBass, just let me wrench your elbow down and relocate it to your anal region.....centre back pride!
