Seeing as you mentioned K rads I assume you want a more street oriented tyre.
Holy rollers are a good option if you want a tyre that rolls well but can handle mild dirt riding such as DJ etc. But is still excellent on street.
If you're looking to do more on dirt, maybe look at Larsen TT's that roll well on the street and grip OK on dirt. These will wear out fairly fast though.

hey there, i read some review where the mag tested the "resistance" of the tyres, meaning the amount of energy it takes to turn it with the same speed. dont know if thats of interest for you best tyre was conti speed king 2.3 and the overall winner was schwalbe nobby nic. larsen was not great...

you should try the intense microknobby tyres they feel really good on smooth trails.

I run the Schwalbe Nobby Nics - very good tyre. They roll well and have enough tread for you to hit the trails. I do DH , single track , up and down hill , basically the works and highly recommend them. Only point is that the side walls are thin and you have to pump them up a fair bit to stop them flexing / moving around - no problem though.
My ride '08 IH 7 PT 7 ( for reference ) :)
