Are you worried about the magnesium lever tarnishing/corroding? That's the only issue that I was really worried about, so I decided to paint mine.

mmm i saw graveys brakes a thredbo were similar to this and sinse my hayes r a bit scratched i though that i would give it a go as well... never got around to it though...

i presume that u just used paint stripper?

Yeah from doing Dodgey Bleeding with Ty .. my brakes have lost alot of Paint .. they are heading into the bling direction.

just get a proper protective agent from an engineering store or specialist whoever or they will tarnish up. high speed alloy buffing compound works best too usuallyavailable in a white block.

I must be seriously tired.
I read the name of the thread and read the word LEVERS.
So im looking at the pics goin whats new about those blades?
then im reading the thread and your all talking about polishing, so i look back up and see that the levers are shiney,
so im abouts to write a big smart arsed response about how much time u must have to polish your lever blades when i notice that the entire lever, mastercyl and housing is polished.

God its been a long day! :roll:

looks schmick but. Now u just need a polished frame to go with.... shame Balfa dont do that....

LOL I actually laughed for like 40 seconds at that for some reason. But anyway, what about chrome andozing? That sounds blingness. I don't know anything about it but.
