did you buy that 2nd hand or new?

riderigid
24-06-2004, 09:36 PM
i want to know what camera you were using so i know NEVER TO BUY ONE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! sorry, they are REALLY bad pics. the bike looks sick though.
do you race on it much? if you don't then that is a overly ginormous chainring, and i'd swap it to maybe a 36-38

Technica
24-06-2004, 09:39 PM
yeah the chain guide is to big need to change it for a aireal DS104, i didn't know the DS existed when i bought the other 1

the camera is a webcam, its a good webcam when your using it as a webcam but not a camera

and i bought it new and broke everything on it, i wanna race, i live near harvey, i'll just bug him till he takes me to a race (when my bike is ready)

- Dice SMO rear rim (yes yes i know i know)

Know what? Are they shite? Used to run these when I was learning to bunnyhop, best investment I'd made :D

Technica

they are very resistent to flat spots on the rim, but the side walls bend easily, and they buckle out without much stress unless you have a tiny bit wheel building skills and can tighten your spokes .... ALOT!!

thats a pretty nice bike you have there. Forks must feel nice too.
smooth? 8)

Technica
25-06-2004, 04:24 PM
yeah the forks are smooth as, i need a harder spring in them and they flex to much though, they aren't strong enough if you have a hard style, i stacked and slammed my face into the ground, i got these new forks and learnt how to ride again so they aren't for you if your rough on your bikes.

hey,
nice bike, awesome spec....i reckon you should get a new frame and it would be awesome!
whats wrong with the smos though..ive had no problems they seem pretty bloody good

Technica
21-07-2004, 09:46 PM
yeah sorry about the pix everyone, took them with my webcam

SMOs are like butter, i've buckled mine like 5 times, it's holding on by a thread, i'm work in a bike shop so i learnt most of the mechanics

and whats wrong with my frame ? it's pretty sick (a tad short though), Mark harvey rode 1, gave it hell and it was still in 1 piece
