sorry guys, don't really have the time to dig in sydney at the moment (hell, i spent too much time down there already!)
but if you've got some transport i've got an ideal site in north ryde - eden park drive - just in front of where I work is a vacant lot (awaiting development so probably won't be around forever but heaps of potential), there's loads of dirt there to work with already and a gentle slope to the block. worth a look i reckon. i've even thought of talking to the land owners about building a legit 4X track there. let me know what you think

North Ryde is a central kind of area (only 20 mins drive for me);

If we can get land owners permission I say hell yeah;

And then we would know how long the track can stay there.........

I have a basic (secret) track worked out in Penno, just needs finishing touchs..........or expansion!!

tamborine bay is the bushy area inbetween longueville and riverview collage. you have ridden on it 4 sure. it runs from river road to the bay where the rock pool is. its a pretty cool area of heaps of drops ranging from 2 to ones up to 15 foot.

as 4 how i know you. you have a dj in your front yard so i kinda guessed.

hey i really dont want to put it in a national park. cause the rangers are already touch about mountain bikers in the park (due to erosion) and if we even dig in that area they could ban mtbing in that area. (it would be hard to enforce but it still would be a bitch). but if you have a good spot tell us where it is on the map!!!!!!!

yeah i do. just need to get the bb in b4 i can ride it. its driving me crazy waiting. i live in canberra 7 months of the year but sure im always up 4 a ride. when do you come to oz?

also if you are keen to give a hand with the jumps you wont be pushed away.

talking about jumps around here you guys have to see the jumps we are building in lindfield they are sooooo mad and impossbile to find u cant come if u want but ud have to meeet up with us cos u would neevr find them

yeah i live in chatswood/willoughby and will make the trip out there when i get my new bike caz im always keen to help make new jumps that we can hit, i should be able to come in like 2-4 weeks

going back to the castelcove jumps they are behind the toilets on the oval we are there pretty much every day after scholl from 4pm till 6pm and on the weekend we are there all day.

so anyone interested come down they are getting pretty sick samuel was pretty much the main builder, we just ride the jumps, but he isn't on farkin anymore because HE WAS BANNED!!!

but seriously come down whenever you want we need some more help

theres been talk of developing the site. if it isn't the case and development is a few years away thats great but ive got a feeling its not to far off.

whats you definition of awesome. last time i went there it smelt and the jumps where small humps. if its improved great, but there is an issue with to many gromets knowing where those jumps are. and its in clear view from the road. i wouldn't take long for them to get busted again.

is blackman park where that little skate park is? if it is there is some massive potential around that area (big drops and some room for some nice jumps).
