Hahah Get stuffed scully im a hartail rider im not doing that dam creek gap a mate has tho on a DH team. There are many other lines and a smaller launch over that creek and the big launch will eventually have a wooded tranny to launch onto. The bit of the track shown there is about 60m in total but there is going to be more of a terain park kinda setup there.

This pic is of the Big drop there.. Its a 3m drop to tranny In the bottom right . It looks sketchy in the photo but its sweet.

i'd build dirt landing's instead of that wooden stuff, if the dirt's there why not? look's like it could be fun tho'

LEX

Yeh thats another trick by the photo... The runoff from that launch to pallet is actually a sloped dirt track. You dont even need to hit that pallet if a dont need to

Nice work mate...got some potential there. Wouldn't mind having a ride sometime when you finish it off. Is it in wahroonga?

The track looks like fun, but it is pretty close to some houses by the looks of things. What do the neibours think of it? If they ring up the council and complain it won't be "secret" for very long.

I'm not trying to pull you down, just saying it would be a shame if all your hard work went to waste

Is that a PVC pipe for storm water runoff on the left?

The neighbours to the right are road riders i think and the other who live on the street just want to see us ride that stuff 8)

hard to tell from pics though

Ahh that's cool. The people who live in my suburb are not so understanding, There is one lady who seems to be home 24hours a day who goes nuts when you ride through a firebreak between the houses and the bush. she rants on about erosion when we are riding on grass.

Indeed it is mate, by the looks of it a 100mm drain out from downpipes and a floorwaste on the deck.

Never seen it tho, so i may be wrong.
If so, that dirt supporting the launch may not be so supporting.

Looks good tho matey!

why make burms and landing out of wood, it appears you have a fair bit of dirt to use

LEX

LEX
05-07-2004, 07:08 PM
We try but the dirt there is Shit. Its all dusty and full of rocks and rubbish. The only good dirt in the area is the crap that comes from the creek bed. We have been working on it for about 3 or so days
