Shiver DC on giant DH

has anyone tried fitting shiver DCs with a tall crown to a giant dh frame? Im thinking of getting a set of 04 shivers and was just wondering if anyone has tried this combination.

not personally, but I know of a few people with similar setups.

being a tall fork, as you said, would slacken up the head angle a bit, making it somewhere between 65.5 and 66 degrees.
nice, stable and long.

It really is dependent more on your style of riding.
do you like to throw the bike around?

I generally ride freeride stuff, a bit of northshore, some dirt jumping and some decent sized drops. I like to throw my bike around, but im pretty large ( 6 foot 2") so I should hopefully still be able to.

yeah i had shivers on my giant comp for about 3 weeks before i got my new frame. yes it worked fine. i have boxxer world cups now and realise that it wasnt worth having such big forks on a bike like that.
