2.5 dh tube in 2.3 tyre

Will a 2.5 Maxxis Downhill tube fit into a 2.3 Nokian tyre, or would i be better going off going for 2.125 Thornproof tube or just plain old tubes that will fit any tyre above 1.75. Thanks

it will fit with no problems i have run 2.5 dh tubes many times in 2.0 tyres and its all good so no worries thier m8

Don't bother with thornproof tubes, they're generally too narrow, by the time they expand under inflation, they're stretched thin.
And I was running 2.7" tubes in a 1.9" tyre the other week, can be done, just be careful with pinching, use plenty of talcum/baby powder when installing.
