Well i'm looking for a rear hub for a new "special project". The frame spacing is 135mm, with a 20mm axle. And it's NOT a turner.

Anyway, Does anyone else apart from Razor Rock Racing make a 20mm rear hub? Reason being is that i'm interested in building up 2 wheelsets for said bike :!: and i'd like some decent hubs. I am aware that Bill at dhd used to stock reducers for turners so a 12mm hub could be used. Are these still good,ie, is the wheel/swingarm interface weakened by the spacers?

It seems that 2 pairs of razor rock racing hubs laced on 721s and trailpimps will cost upwards of $2000

Dave,

Yes, razor rock is it.

Yes, the reducers are fine and are just as strong. The reducer cups press into the frame (im mean press, i needed to use a rubber mallet to get them in) and then you do them up with the pinch bolt on the frame.

Here is a pic of an axel

Here is a discription
1. This peice sits inside the end of the frame and is threded on the inside. The end of the axel screws into it
2. This is just a recuder shim for 20 down to 12mm.
3. This is the 12mm axel that slides through the shim and into the the threaded bit number 1.

You need to be careful but, the one i crossed out is for an ellisworth frame and won't fit a turner and visa-versa, so make sure you get the right one.

Matt.

PS If you buy an ellisworth im going to bitch slap you. Go a turner  Jordy is selling his.......
