a bolt on single speed hub or complete wheel
a set of 180 mm cranks (ISIS, square or shimano splined) - stiffer the better!

I have DMR revolver hubs laced to mavic 517 rims.

The TuffNeck hubs (on ForTheRiders, or from your lbs) are absolutely awsome for the price. They way an absolute ton though.
