either the blafa 2step or the intense tazer will do you for 4x mate and a bit of north shore

I'd say a heckler but i'm a one-eyed santa cruz rider so what would i know?
It's better than the others since you can actually ride it places with the full length seatpost, but for 4x and NS stuff i guess it doesn't matter.
You could also look at finding a specialized sx since they were pretty good for 4x stuff.

Lopes is sponsered by GT mate!! He has a new I-Drive which you can find on 4xfeva!
And i think you'll find that Gracia is riding a Cannondale Prophet this year!!

They're all good, but trying to get a chainguide for them is near impossible. Apart from that they'[d be sick.
Out of the box, I reckon an AC would be hard to pass up- just needs a chainguide and a 36/8T chainring and you're set.

If I stuck a se3t of z150 FR bombers on the fron t of the ac1 would that measure up?
have a look at the Specialized Enduro SX aswell
apparently the new 05 model will come in 2 different
models a race model with 4" of travel and a more Freeride model
which will have 6"
it sounds pretty much exactly what you want

that would be a great combination

How about a norco 4by? It's four cross, great for DJ and it should be able to suit your freeride needs...it's a great all rounder.

Hey man, If price and maintainability is important, there are plenty of nice strong hardtail frames about. Better for the jumps, quick on a 4x track and with a nice fork on you'll be able to huck enough to keep you happy. Take a look at the Banshee hardtails for something heaps strong but there are plenty of options...
