Email notification????

Is anybody else not being notified by email when they have a new private message? Mine stopped working mid last week for some reason.

Before anyone asks, yes i have the notify me when PMarrives thing in my profile on, and my email account doesn't have a jumk filter so it's not getting filtered out at that side.

hmm yeah, log me on automatically stopped working for me, and i have not been notified with new messages, im confused!

our mail server is and has been temperamental for about 6 months now. So, pull up a chair and get used to it, cause its going keep happening for a while yet :)

It's not only the mail server, I'm experiencing many probs with the site timing out. This isn't a winge (how could it be, it's a free service :P ) I just don't know how this stuff works. If the company that provides this service for Farkin isn't towing the line, can anything be done?

Right now I'm praying that a) I didn't just dribble a load of techno spastic crap, and b) that these questions haven't been asked before somewhere else!

it could be a number of things... im in the process of narrowing it down.

looks like its a problem with sendmail (the servers mail server). Whenever a page is loaded that tries to send an email, the page hangs... I'll see if I can get it fixed shortly.

yeah i would hate to be a complainer :) i also have found that i dont get notified of PMs, and i dont get notified for replies any more?

yup i am with SHAKA, mines up and running again, plus i got all my email notifications for the past week in about 30 secs..

yeh it has stopped working again and has not worked for a while now. it does become a little frustrating but you can live without it

It's never worked for me (yes it's turned on).
