do you wont 20mm axle or quick release, i think you would want more than 80mm so that the sherman jumper gone and so on

Ok im pretty sure he wants a new fork, and is undecided on 20mm or QR. But like he said its being used for jumping n street mainly
Rhys
How many bikes do you have? Will this be your only bike? I'd reccomend upgrading to 20mm, but if you want to stick with QR, then it's your choice.
If you want a QR fork and don't mind waiting a short time, get DHdirect's Sherman Flick + KeeWee Stealth package! If you don't like the frame, I'm sure a few people out there wouldn't mind buying it for a good price.

OK I ride with him heeps and generally know what hes after so ill just answer again lol.
Its not going to be his only bike, on the cards later is a dh bike so this will really only be used for street and jumping, its most likely going to be new forks as we can get the at cost from work.
I was thinking something travel adjustable for street etc, but the Shermans are not supposed to be ridden hard in there shorter travel setting.
I was leaning towards Fox's or Pike's but where not sure on the durability of the Fox's for street etc, cuase weve seen a few sets around here that have cracked all around the crown.
Anyone using Fox's for full blown street, had any problems?
And dont go saying Jeff Lenosky rides them there great etc hes sponserd so its doesnt amtter what he breaks really.
Rhys.

ok, i ride everything on my Fox vanilla R in its 100mm setting, most of what i ride is street, i'm not a light rider, but these are holding up fine.
I have ridden the new PIKE and it feels great, but i have also heard that the sherman jumper.
I think that this decision is really up to you, make the decision on your riding style, the price and the features of the forks.
I would recommend the fox vanilla, or if you want something a bit more burly perhaps you caould wait untill the new Foc 36 comes out (this is supposed to be an awesome fork).
Hope this helps,
Evan

Go for the new rock shox pike. They have the U turn feature and you can lock them out as well. You could go from 140mm travel to lock out in the one fork.

Yeah we had looked at the 36 but didnt know what the deal was on realease dates, im fairly sure hes after something a little more then 80mm travel like the Jumpers, becuase they limit the bike a little to its abilities.
From what I think the main contenders are going to be Fox 36's, Fox RL's or RS Pikes.

Yeah Dave, go the rock shox for the u turn feature. These forks will be awesome and would be fully reliably coming from rock shox. Sorry i have no other important input.
P.S. DAVE stop getting Rhys to tell us what you want.

Will the Pike's exploderate if hardhit when locked out? Hope not cause id guess it would be pretty easy to do streetwise....
