Wow!, this looks impressive http://www.magura.com/english/pop/images/04_pop_thor.jpg

I've always wondered what would happen if you combined a Manitou reverse arch with a standard arch. I wonder how well it'd work!

geez.... short travel, thru axle, two archs... hmmm, maybe they're tryin to create that elusive 'no flex at all' fork....

For those confused by the links, click on rexies one, then click Magura suspension on the lefthand menu.

The air shock looks interesting - linear (constant rate) air spring. Have other companies delved in this?

edit-
lol, gotta love modesty - quote from "why magura suspension" page: "Our truly godlike suspension program has been completely re-worked for 2004 and answers all our prayers....."

Check out that page though, looks like some pretty sweet, unique features. The 'corrosion protectors' looked good to me at first, but I wonder how neccesary they are with all the funky alloys nowadays?

geez.... short travel
Travel: 150mm to 110mm (Flightcontrol)

They do look short in the picture though.

I'd love to check out their suspension. But fat chance of it coming to Australia, the importer doesn't want anything to do with them, apparently it's too much hassle to make it worthwhile for them

Fox - Travel adjustable LINEAR air spring
Manitou - evolver rear shock

As far as I know though, it's not actually possible (without going nuts) to get an actual linear air spring, just like it's not possible (again without going berserk) to make a bike with a linear suspension rate - they're just approximations.
