Hey Gang,

Australia's newest punk and ska radio show is coming! Phill and Shane's Punk and Ska Arvo hits the air next Tuesday (17th Aug '04) from 2 - 4pm (AEST) on SUB fm. The station webcasts globally so whereever you are you can tune in. SUB's CD collection is pretty sad (Excepting a solitary Loin Groin CD I found sitting in there), so the show will consist basically of Phill's and my own collections (so there'll be a few porkers tracks going out). At least until bands start sending the station some material (Hint hint pete! Would love to hear that live stuff man). But yeah, tune in! And feel free to call up or e-mail any requests, and if we don't have it in the studio we'll try and track it down by the following week. Hope you all can tune in!

Later,
Shane.

DAMN!! Sounds awesome. Good old aussie ska. Might not be to some people's tastes... and mine have certainly evolved since the days of listening to The Porkers, Commissioner Gordon, Loin Groin, The Seen and numerous other local acts on high rotation... but it'll be good to get back to my roots.
Who could forget the days of Ska Skank Downunder Volume 2 when you would skank your little heart out to bands like The Screaming Orgasms and The Last Hemeroids and when Area 7 actually played reasonable ska and didn't feel obliged to preach bullshit about how Australia's national pride would overcome terrorism.

I'll be marking this one down in the diary.
Pass me my Hot-Dog Daiquiri!!
