As a trail builder from Wenty Falls, i would like everone to know...
DONT POST WENTY FALLS LOCATION
Were already notcied by the council and they are considering there options, we dont want or need the swarms off ppl off the internet.
for shits sake people get some etiquette and ASK the locals before posting! Just pm if you want to know or better yet those who do know of wenty --ask the locals in person, such as myself or ask any of the crew up there... I know they dont want them on the net
SO DONT POST WITHOUT PERMISSION

how small do you call small there are a few maybe 6 foot gap ones they're built so you get a lot of air not distance off them and they get bigger from there...

If you've seen DRIFT a new Race you've seen Rennie and Timo hitting Hazelbrook.
So if not posting those jumps here is gonna hide the fact as to where they
are!
Wot are you trail builders doing about Black Pheonix Films showing them to the world?
Big deal if they are in movies, they don't tell you where they are. Local tracks should be for locals and their guests only. For the reason that forigners don't know the score or have the respect they should. I know this is a gross genralisation but for the longevity of our tracks it should be the unwritten law. Hook up with the locals or don't go. Respect.

Im fully with ZZ, we (and other trail builders no matter what, where when) just want some common courtesy, such as ASK BEFORE POSTING or in this case NOT POSTING THE LOCATION. for shits sake ppl, we are happy for most ppl, if they just ask before riding, Not post the location, to use what we have created, but when we get on average close to 30 ppl we dont know altering shit and riding without fixing what they wreck every weekend and most of them FIND THEM OFF THE INTERNET, so please dont post the location of anyones jumps unless they want them to be posted-this way you keep the jumps in good nic, and the locals happier

yeh rules are rules. even if their not written.
yeh the council has allowed hazo. and they're HUGE!!!! i doubt that theres more then 40 ppl in the country who hit those up. or similar size jumps. including rennie.......
and wenty jumps...well if u wanna be cool bout it ask 360xup or me....not that we'll be able to stop u over the net but its nice to know whos at our jumps and then if we find our jumps trashed we might have a better idea who it was....
oh yeh wenty arent that 'bmx style' in the first place.....anyway whats it matter. mtb's should be ale...correction do..handle them very well. i should know. plenty of mtb's ride there including me...

sorry guys, this localism business is getting too much like surfing, for starters, if the jumps are on public property, they're not your jumps or trails, so quit your wingeing or build somewhere where you can legitimately claim ownership
.
sure if you've built them, then props to you for getting off your ass to build something, you've got a shit -hot place to ride not far from home and you can ride them with the satisfaction that you built them but please don't expect to be asked for permission when someone not from your area shows up. (when was the last time you rang the RTA for permission to ride on the road or the council to ride at a skate park???.........yeah, thought so.)
granted, it's a different story if you get a bunch of hacks casing the jumps & not repairing them but hey, don't pidgeonhole everyone into that category.
The next thing you guys into your 'localism' need to build is a bridge so you can get over it, then you might get some respect.

what's more, even if we were to ask permission and there are 30 or so 'foreigners' riding on your jumps, who do we ask? or do we just look for the guy with 6 fingers or something??? sorry guys, it would be nice but it's not going to happen.

No we dont expect to give permission, we are just sick of little fucktards showing up, discovering them off the internet and trashing them. If riders wanna know where they are they can PM me or PM i h8 showponies, or anyone else who knows their where abouts -- JUST DONT POST THEM. you dont realise that posting them may get 34 views by Farkiners alike but it also gets like 300+ for most topics by outsiders - these and some ppl on here are the ones who rock up to the jumps and go nah its too big, and instead of leaving and building their own they downgrade ours so they can do them. And to sit there and say "get over it" like you built em is just crap, its ppl with this attitude that dont fight to get skate parks made and dont care if the jumps are trashed cause they know someone else will build them up again. All we want is for our jumps to remain quiet. not for little dicks to sit there and pull the bloody "its council land" crap and "ill post if i want to" cause it is just pure crap.

agreed, having little shits hacking big jumps so they can ride them is crap. that would piss me off too, but i reckon you have to be a bit fatalistic about it. people are generally no damn good, if you build especially on public land, then you must expect
1. to not keep it a secret (i'm sure hazo for example isn't so well hidden and hazelbrook isn't so big that a decent drive around would'nt find them)
2.them to be levelled by the council for liability reasons, some tool on a moto or little shits on huffys.
anything aside from that should be considered a bonus

Hazo is a public area, it has had permission by the councill since 97/98, its signposted and isnt goin to be bulldozed. As for me and I H8 Showponies jumps, before a certain someboday posted pics and location details on a few different sites, the jumps were only ridden by those who we told.
Until about 2 years ago the jumps were quiet, then some dickhead posted them on here, and on about 3 different other sites with the location, then there started to be swarms of ppl showing up at our jumps ---> do you know what its like having to watch ppl case out on your jumps and destroy them? Or having to wait for up to 45 minutes just to jumps a set only to find that ppl are running accross it and ppl are talking in front of the starting jump? if you can honestly say that that is how you would like your jumps to be like ? day in and day out we suffer this shit, on weekdays we get on average 15 ppl there just smoking pot after school - they tag along with the ppl who find them off the internet. And its when jumps do get posted and get too noticeable that the council steps in, and you can guess what follows.....

curtis rider: have a farkin whinge... i was just generalising bout 40 riders or whatever. u toss. its not like i actually give 2 shits bout how many ppl can actually do them. they've only got a couple huge ones but still. u can't say they're small.....and if u can do em con-fuckin-grats ....and yes ur right. we can't expect ppl to ask. its more of a courtesy thing. largely aimed at shits who destroy jumps coz they suck ass.

i agree fully on what you say with the respect thing it is true me and my mates have been hitting hazo the past few weeks and the big pak is of size i only got over the 1st and gave up but the small pack isnt suitable for a mtb i ride both mtb and bmx but and i found out that hazo isnt user freindly  ther from 6 foot up with some with 13 foot gaps and i now what yous mean by respect cause 1 day me alan parry and dermo came up to hazo and the 1st thing we got was how do u now so keep it hush hush DONT TELL WHERE PPLS TRAILS ARE AND IF U RIDE SOME 1S TRAILS IF THE TURN UP U SAY WITH SHOVEL IN HAND AND NOT THERS IF WE FUK IT WE FIX IT AND DO SO 1 day i hope to ride ur trails but il ask before i even think of coming up and i always have a shovel y do u think the tree stump is outta the 2nd jump at hazo in the small pak now

it sounds like the biggest problem is the people that do come are pretty inconsiderate.
maybe we need to figure out a universal code of conduct or DJ etiquette and post as a sticky like the one for skateparks. check out the new post in DJ /4X section
that's probably the most realistic approach cause as sad as it may be, it's out there now and people will keep on coming and continue to what they're doing now unless someone tunes them in.

Heres an idea mate, go find some land, buy some shovels, build your ass off for two years then pm me the location THEN ILL POST YOURS UP and tell everyone how good they are so that the 300 snotty nosed little dickheads can show up wreck em leaving you to rebuild them every weekend. Or maybe just pull your finger out your ass and say something constructive like : damm i think i wanna agree that building jumps is hardwork and getting them trashed sucks however...
But instead you come on and post that crap.
