Hey,
Is anyone watching this circus thing on TV right now?
I saw on the intro a trials rider and a really impressive bit of flat land... By seeing some of the insanely skilled stuff they are doing I'm sure there will be a bit of a treat with they riding parts.

i missed the trials dude but just saw the dudes in the big hoops. they must have a massive amount of core strength to do that stuff. think i will get off the computer and go watch the rest.

That BMX flat land was pretty fuckin insane!
I didn't think the trials was all that impressive... I mean a hell of a lot better than I could do but in comparison to the other stuff on there...
I liked the guy riding that bike across the tight rope!

Wow I must say I enjoyed watching that...
Think about how much time and dedication must have went into that, and you can see the rewards they get aswell, did you see that guys face when he pulled off that backflip on the rope!!!!

There is a guy up in Launceston who looks alot like someone from System of a Down, he has nipple rings and shit... Anyway he says he used to be the National Champ in Canada and he is fucking awsome!!
I have never seen someone can can foot plant a spine to fakie, then brakelessly pull a fakie manual on the rear wheel before I saw him!

Pretty Good show, Who saw those 3 little asian girls, god they were kool.
ah i saw this too...it rocked, ive watched every circ de solue thats been on tv.
i loved the dude riding that old bike across the the tightrope and the nose manualling a bit. And those flatlanders were just too skillful....
the trials was ok, but not that special, i reckon ben benny is better :P
awesome to see bikes and in particular mtbs getting noticed though :D
That was insane, the trampoline bit at the end was the best. I believe the trials rider was Ryan Leech (Grip is gonna barge in here screaming "RYAN LEECH IS NOT A TRIALS RIDER, HE USES A SUSPENSION FORK OMGZ0R!!!!!1 etc" :P), pretty nice stuff, but with bugger all obstacles to work with, what's he gonna do?

did you mean "odd" or "old" ? True on both counts I guess :)
Dunno if Jonny's flatland skills are what they were, he spends a LOT of time working on his old corolla and sprinter now, I don't think the bike sees a lot of use...

Really? I'm not saying you are wrong because I don't know, but it would suprise me if it was. Surely Leech could ride far better than that?

Well, IMO he didn't have much to go on - a flat stage and bugger all else. The only reason I think it's Leech is because I remember somebody mentioning (possibly on hcor.net) a while ago, that Leech performs for the Cirque du Soleil. It is also characteristic of him to ride "trials" with suspension forks, which is fairly unusual.

Sure Leech could ride far better than that, but could he be sure he wouldn't fuck it up in front of that huge audience? thats the difference, he pretty much has to get it right!

Well it could have been him, but yes it did not do him justice.
Getting to the top of that platform and then just just riding down the stairs was the biggest anticlimax ever  But I suppose it was not aimed at riders.
yeah...circdu soles or somthing!!! flat lander! like the retro coloured bikes!

I agree, also his forks looked to have way too much travel and were alot softer looking than Leech's, and surely he could side hop more than 2 people EVERYTIME with out stuffing up...
