ok, here it is.
my mate has offered to swap my 03 super t's (good condition) for his 03 Teams (good condition, except for one thing ill get to in a sec) and some dosh.
now my mates teams have been looked after pretty well and are next to new, except a scratch on one stanchion, he says the bike store checked it out and said it would effect it. the teams havnt had any upgrades such as blackbox or anything, they are stock.
i do a everything from stairgaps to freeride to DH. so id like to hear what you all think about it? super t's or teams, which is better? and if i go the teams, how much money should i ask for?
cheers
I have no personal experience on either of these forks but from what I have read (& that is a lot) and from people I have talked too it seems that Super T's would be more suited to a mixture of hucking/racing/freeriding whereas the Teams are more of DH race specific fork. So if the choice was up to me I would stay with marzocchi.

dont go for the teams, the supers would be by far heaps better, and there always seems to be some problems with rockshox and i havnt heard anything bad bout supers so keep them. and they look cooler too.

how much dh do u do? do u race or not.... I would go the boxxers, they are a better fork and if u get them black boxed they will feel awesome...i dont like marzocchi they are more a hucking fork. The black box makes the forks fell so good.

Cept for their castings :P
If you are a racer go the teams.
If you are a hucker go the T's.
It's as simple as that.
As for the scratch an the staunchon my boxxers have several scars from trailers and are fine. {Within reason.} They only have dramas when the bushes are worn.
I'd keep the supers no matter what, racing or no racing.
Black boxing your Boxxers just makes them work properly. You see, forks from marzocchi actuall work straight out of the box!
It's some wierd marketing thing...

Yes, in terms of FUNCTIONALITY that is a sensible decision. What do you not like about your Super T's that would make you want to switch to a Boxxer Team? Why don't you take his bike for a spin down a track, and see how they handle. If its your mate's bike then surely you can try before you buy, or in this case, swap.
Give the boxxers a bit of a run to see how they hold up to your style of riding, if you dont like them, keep your Supers.

Adjustable crowns- you're not stuck at the one height (03 Super Ts are fixed, so the top is adjustable and the bottom isn't)
