I don't get the pop-up box when I get a new PM now... I have the thing selected (but email notification turned off), and I don't have any pop-up blockers... help?

IF your using mozilla or firefox, that would be your problem- you'd have to setup the site to be allowed or turn off the inbuilt popup blocker altogether.

SP2 has pop-up killer style features.

there would be some way to configure it ... but I havent installed Sp2 yet .. too scared.

when ie blocks a popup, you'll see a yellow bar (under the address bar). It should say that it has blocked a popup, and to click on it for options. You can set it to always allow popups from this site.

Well mine just randomly didn't work today! First time it hasn't for me, and I've got FF set to allow all pop-ups from Farkin.

Yay for intermittent faults!

Are you running Windows XP?

If so, have you recently upgraded to Service Pack 2?

SP 2 adds a popup blocker to Internet Explorer. This can be turned off/on and settings can be changed. Click Tools on the menu bar in Internet Explorer then click Internet Options and go to the Privacy tab.

Use FireFox and just add farkin.net to the list of sites to not stop pop-ups.
