I've noticed that the PnS forum is getting 2 types of threads:
threads about repairing/working on bikes
and
threads about new products, product advice, what to buy.

I think I've mentioned it before, but I think it'd be good to have 2 seperate forums to take care of the seperate demands each thread has to offer. PnS has almost equal amount of threads as General MTB discussion, yet the talk in PnS is a bit more specific. We could have stickies in each forum with guides specific to each forum, it'd reduce clutter and make threads easier to find and forums easier to navigate.
The 2 sections could come under the title of "the shop", with a "workshop" forum for tech advice, and a "front counter" for product information. Stickies for bike maintainence would obviously get posted in "workshop", stickies for reviews and product guides would go in "front counter" obviously.
This would also allow new product discussion, which is usually posted in General MTB, to be posted in the "front counter", so we have one specifc place for all new product info as well as product advice.
This idea was party inspired by the fact that new product threads are getting posted in seperate forums, so to keep them all in the one place would be great for the bikenerd in us all.
I beleive it'd be good to do this, to allow Farkin to expand and evolve as the forums grow.

Anyway, just something I thought about and decided to put forward. What happens from here is in the hands of the mighty powers above.

We already have a forum for that, it's called OffTopic.

(for those that don't know the reference, see here: http://www.farkin.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=20537 )
