Do i real have to talk shite on 10 threads just so i can sell something??? If I could find 10 threads that i had something to say anything about i would, but as yet no luck. :!: :!:

You can always PAY for the service, ala tradingpost.com.au or ebay.com.au.
Edit: oh, and posting in the wrong forum isn't a good start either ;) moved from mtb discussion to site discussion.

please keep in the mind we actually go through each applicants post history before granting access. You may get your 10 posts, but if they're crap they're not going to get you anywhere... As mentioned earlier, this is a priviledge, not a god given right.
Keep in mind that about 50% of all posts on the site are based on crap. I didn’t realise that I needed to post some mind blowing, insightful, mtb breakthrough invention that would revolutionise the dirt world as we currently know it. The only reason I am copping flack of these do-gooders is because i actually posted a comment about the fact that you need 10 posts to sell something and I was using that post to get up to 10 posts. As for "God given right", give me a break, what is it now the christian hour??

I'm sorry you don't agree about the 10 post requirement for gaining access to the buy and sell forums, but like Scott said, it helps us determine if the person wanting in there is an idiot or not, and by viewing previous posts, this helps us in determining that.
That said, if someone wrote to me via a PM, was well spoken, could put a proper sentence together, with punctuation and no spelling mistakes, and asked nicely, well, it'd be a rare event in which I'd turn that person down.
Mind you, without previous knowledge of this person's history on Farkin, I usually watch the first several posts, and ESPECIALLY on the buy and sell forums, and if they didn't follow the rules, I'd take back that access in a second.
I do agree with you on not wanting to perpetuate the amount of crap found on this site. EVERYBODY: please don't post-whore to make the count. I'd rather have you PM me personally than do that. And like I said, only people who can put well spoken, complete sentences with proper spelling and punctuation together will be looked at.
