Any body got any Ideas on what you would expect to pay for a new OLD MODEL V10?
I've tried to search for any Aussie bike shops selling them, but can't seem to find anything apart from PUSHI, and their price seems way over the top - considering there is a new model out now.

$4400 is the going price for a 2004 model, and the new one will be a fair bit more, around $5000 at the moment. So if you can get $4400 for one you should be happy.

Top Brand Bicycles in Townsville Qld have a new(old V10) frame hanging up I'm pretty sure.

Just can't remember how much, just that it looked well burly ie. over built,
but well good.

Blatent Plug.

If you want a good price on one watch for our ad in the next AMB. We have a Trans Red "M" in stock. Come past and have a look/ride if you in Sydney.

If you don't mind second hand V10's, wait around till one comes your way and buy that instead. I got a V10 about 2 months ago in really good nick for only $2500, it needs abit of work but that alone for the frame is amazing! Maybe you should just wait.........

I talked to my LBS to day, and they mentioned that the SC Importer only has a limited amount of stock any way.
So I may have to approach it that way - as in wait for a second hand one to come along.

Hey Lara want to sell it? Only jokes

That's more than retail? Brookvale had them for $4400 with ti. spring and thomson elite post.

Well that was more along the lines that I was thinking.
I thought that since there was a new model coming out, the demand of the older model would drop - hence the price, just as it does with cars.
In theory every time there is a new model, it should decreases the price of the older model.

Floaters are not an option for the new model. According to SC, it is no longer necessary. On the previous model, it only did anything in the last 2 inches of travel anyway. The new model has a different axle path, making it unnecessary. So I'm told.

All reports on the new V10 are raving. 2 pounds lighter, easier to jump thanks to new axle path, new valving in the shock and less sag. It also has a lower centre of gravity. I know a dude who had an old one for 2 years and is now on the new one and he said they are extremely different rides, with a large preference to the new one. The old one was a helleva good ride, so it sounds pretty good.

My mate has a V10 and i've ridden it a few times and WOW....it's awesome. If you go to TC's Bike Barr in Brisbane City they have some second hand V10 frames and whole bikes. I think it's a 2003 model i think...and it's going for $3500

Well AMB is now out, and the Santa Cruz frames were left off the ad (and there is a typo).

V10 with floating disc, Hadley hub (and I think BB) $4k

I emailed the people who import SC in the country and apparently the new ones are here, and you will be able to get them in a month or so as soon as they fill the back orders, the frames are $5075 and come with a rear hub.
