Monster T's + speed + off camber corner = Rolled Tire

Although it made me crash, ripped the arm guard off my dianese shuttle suit plus giving me a huge swllen knee from hitting a rock, I thought it was fairly funny :)

This was my first ride on my new monster T's and boy are they stiff. I guess somthing had to flex :?

I have the 02 models, last of the good ones before they became totally overbuilt. They are only 700 grams heavier than dorados and alot stiffer.

The track is a secret location.

The knee doesn't look too bad, the pain is right inside.

I put new Intenses tyre on my 321 rims (Shiver forks) and it rolled off the front rim after two days of riding. When it rolled off (the tube was still inflated) it tore all the stickers off of the inside of the Shivers (early model) due to the tyre still spinning. I can't blame anything but the tyre, which went into the bin ASAP. But that's the price to pay when you win a tyre - you just don't know if they are seconds or whatever - but one thing is for sure, you can't take them back after you won them! So back on went some Tioga's. (hey, it was a while ago now!!)

haha yeah my mate gave me his intense 2.7 a while back coz it kept falling off his rear wheel.
i put it on the front, which was one of thos narrow v brake rims like 24mm, and it rode ok for a while until i was really railling this berm one day and i ended up on my face with this huge inflated tube sticking out of my piled up mess of a bike.
i cut the tire up into fork bumpers and chainstay protectors and bought a white tiger

WTF? When I had Intense tires I literally had to cut them off the rim. Those things were impossible to get off - I must have snapped like 4 tyre levers before I busted out the wire cutters.

yeah it must have been a second or something coz the bead was visibly bigger than the rim.
even on a wider rim (efd) it fell off. grrr
was too hard for front anyway (70a)

same with mine, we had to use a big metal park tools tyre lever just to get it ON my rim :?
