FFS admins, don't be so lazy  , just ban the n00bs and take the bloody spellchecker!

TIMOH

The spell checker takes a while for one post. If somebody's posting and their spelling bad, mods should be able to set the spell checker on them. :D

Ah, just read in profile and realised you can turn it off ;)

And another way would be to keep a window with WORD open all the time and simply write (and spell check) anything you want in THAT and CUT & PASTE it into the Farkin dialogue box.

Stop being so bloody lazy and help us improve YOUR community site.

very annoying in that if you do not capitalise words it rejects them.

anyways it is not help full as a default but as an option it is!

Ps. it does not know how to spell with the Queen's English.

and it does not know its abbreviations

I hate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!, even on 128k broadband it takes a fair while to know, and if people are lazy about spelling in the first place they will just click submit straight away without checking it any way. (like me  ) The other thing is it doesn't allow for many technical biking terms, ie duellie, so it is a hassle when you spell everything else right.

Booooooost Spelling Cow!!!

I'm on dial-up... make a fair effort with my posting and STILL use it every now and then and have no complaints about how long it takes. What do you want for nothing?

And also... I'm sure the quality of posting has increased dramatically over the last few months.

And also... I'm sure the quality of posting has increased dramatically over the last few months.

whilst this may be the case, i still regularly notice illiterate people who have obviously disabled it.
