No way, dj3's are like, the strongest ever.

i know someone who snapped the crown (the freak) and marzocchi replaced em....
03 DJ3s were known to crack/snap crowns, it's a stright up warranty job if you are the orignal owner too.
try doing a search for it, Ryan snapped his clean off.

I don't seem to think so. My DJ3's snapped straight throught the crown.

Yep. They'll do that.
IF you're the original owner AND you have the receipt AND it's less than a year since you bought them then it's a guaranteed warranty replacement from Group Sportife. If you aren't the original owner you're pretty much up shit creek and depending on when you bought them and whether you still have proof of purchase getting them warrantied will prove increasingly difficult.

I've also heard of and seen broken DJ3 crowns, its quite strange that DJ2's and 1's don't have the same problem!
On a similar note....i have '03 DJ2's for sale!!

If my experience with fork crowns over the years is any guide, how quickly they die generally is proportional to just how often you violently case out on dirtjumps....

no its not
yeah my crown on my 2003 dj's got small cracks in them and had to be sent off to Italy to Marzocchi to be replaced and we were told that this was the case with lots of 2003 dj 3's and mine came back right as rain..
bad luck chris! Guess you will have to ride a better bike...with dual crowns! I know of one person who has broken DJ'3's. His name is Elliot, the biggest Huckwit in the world!

my 04 DJ3's are holdin up fine, did they change the design on the 03 model for 04? cuz think i heard somewhere marzocchi said screw this, lets just make the 04 modelreally nice n strong...nobody will come cryin home anymore, and forgot about the weight factor.
i think its also cuz the 03 Dj3's were fitted on more freeride-oriented bikes like the stinky and atomik, whereas the 04/05's are on more DJ specific bikes, so they wouldnt get bashed around as much

i know this is a bit OT but anyway...
i was looking over my DJ 3's last night, and saw that they are cracking under the steer tube? (shinny silver thing) They are cracking where you would bolt on a fender. So i will be taking them down to the shop where they were brought to get them warrantied, but do i have to contact anyone before hand or will the bike shop take care of it. And if i do, could someone put me in contact with the person form marzocchi who deals with warranty issues.
Any help will be greatly appreciated,
cheers, kizza
