Thought I saw somewhere a photo of a 26" Holy Roller

Maxxis website has no info.

Anyone remember seeing news of them offering it in 26"ers

They're all over the place mate... including both wheels of my hardtail :)

roughly half the weight of a Hookworm, more traction if you stray occasionally from groomed concrete, same price.

Most Maxxis dealers should have some on order - I doubt they've got any stock though, they're going out as soon as we unpack them.

I'm running a pair, and did some very sketchy trailriding in a very sandy place on the weekend. Sure, it drifted a bit, but it was doable. Great all-round tyre that leans more towards street+hardpack use.

awsome all round tyre but the side walls are thin...... need to have some cranking PSI going in them, other than that i think il get a pair soon.

Thin sidewalls is a plus. Who wants to haul around 1kg+ per tyre, and have no suppleness at all, especially in a street/hardpack tyre. Crank them up to 70psi, and you shall roll in a very holy manner :D

true but for all those crank grinding bandits... used to have these tyres on my bmx...... they lasted just over an hour (rear one that is) only due to grinding.

Sounds like some dodgy/unsmooth grinding, no offence to you gromet but some how i think part of the reason they only lasted just over an hour is due to the way you were grinding, and not overly on the thickness of the tire  or maybe you were just learning?

I mean that in the nicest way possible
