I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it looks like an eTrex GPS, but i wouldnt think that it is.

its a heart rate monitor, to show what his heart rate would get up to during a downhill race... i would say that it is for his training.

i could be a data acquisition system, when i talked to him
he said they did quite a bit of that during his days at Yeti

Those are some nice pictures you have there of Rennie in his yeti days. It doesn't seem long since my cousin and I met up with him down at North Richmond Jumps. He jumped with heaps of style and was SO smooth he made everyone envious. Oh, I also have two of those white jerseys in the second last and last pictures and managed to score some cheap gloves off him too. :D
Does anyone have any pictures from the Qranc Era besides the ones his website?

My uncle knows his mother, a while ago he was selling his old yeti gear, so my mates and i were able to get some nice Jerseys that belonged to the champ.

Its not an LE jersey, I dont think.

LE = limited edition = Rainbow stripes on arm. Yes, it has them. :)

haha I was just sittin' here thinking will I risk the flaming for having a go at Rennie wisely protecting his knees but fark his head. I know he is a pro and all but Waddell (sp?) was wearing a moto helmet and look what he has had to go through.

It's a tape measure. Rennie, being the Pinkbike-style freerider that he is, feels obliged to stop and measure any jumps/gaps/drops he hits.
