I hate them so much. I just got one and it said tonight you will die at midnight if u do not send this. Give me your opinions on them and can you stop them.

on many e-mail servers it is possible to block mail which is addressed to multiple recipients or not specifically to you, although iot depends what you're using.

gmail block everything

the funiest was at home, recieved a pyramid scheme letter in the mail, with 5 peoples names and addresses, god i should have contacted them and told them how stupid they were

hotmail: i send all my mail that is not hotmail to another folder, and once i go through the folder select all the junk mail. click report junkmail and ull never recieve it again

me and my friend developed a email to send to all our friends saying don't send me any chain letter, it turned into a chain letter its self, so we just stopped everything, Caz they ere from all our friends and we didn't want to block their email

And reads everything too
And the others don't? If you send or receive an email anywhere I guarantee you that there are copies of it in the cache of at least 10 mail servers which can be read/intercepted by nearly anyone along the way.

Edit: Unless you encrypt your emails there is a very good chance it has been read by someone/program along the way.

No i got this brilliant one about a month ago, explaining how to make a shitload of money, completely tax free. the theory behind it was incredible and would totally work if you could convince people to continue the chain letter and instructions.
but as we all know, people dont do what these things say. ill see if i still have it and write down the instructions. it was a very clever idea tho.

i just tell hotmail to block anything with forwarded stuff in it. it then goes to the junk box.

works for me. its one of the custom settings in the options pane.
