OK, this is not a question that someone who has been using Farkin for a very long time should have to ask, but here goes  s

How do you quote multiple people when replying to a thread?

Thanks Emmett.

i suppose you could quote someone, then cut what you quoted and go back. then do your next quote and paste the first quote. i have been wondering how lately too but that idea just came to mind.

Well, if you don't NEED the quote to have timmy2004 wrote: blah blah, You can just press the quote button, scroll down the page, copy and paste, bring it up.. paste it, then end quote it :P But recentley I was trying to quote with so and so wrote: and couldnt work it out :P

Learn the code... it's not exactly difficult and it saves a lot of time cutting and pasting.

eg:

i luv darrn berrrcloth hes so dam cool !!111

I heard that the steroids made him flexy

equals: (minus the extra spaces in front of "quote")

[ quote="S."][ quote="Some young punk"]

i luv darrn berrrcloth hes so dam cool !!111
I heard that the steroids made him flexy
1/ Cut and then paste the other persons words into YOUR reply exactly the same as you would cut & paste something into a Word document you were writing.

2/ HIGHLIGHT that section that you want to appear as another persons quote.

3/ While it's highlighted left mouse click on the "Quote" button just above the dialogue box you're writing in

4/ You will end up with this before the highlighted section... and this after it. These are the codes that make the quote appear AS A QUOTE in your post.

5/ to make it appear as "so and so wrote" all you need do is make sure the STARTING quote code ( which is this
) is changed to include the person's name IN THIS FORMAT EXACTLY
. So basically all you do is add = and the person's name in " marks and it'll all work magically.
