video cameras?

hey, i wanted to get a good video camera, and start filming some stuff, but im not sure what to get and how much they go for, so i thought id ask on here.

so, im looking for a camera that is reasonably priced, with decent quility, especialy when you play it on full screen (tv's, computers, etc.) and one that plugs into the usb port, so that i can edit stuff on the computer. so i guess that means digital.

also, im not sure if you can get video cameras that do this or not, but if it could take still pics aswell, that would be good.

oh, and prices.

not that i know of, video cameras are expensive, my dad gets them cheap for school then he racked one,its a damm good camera, youve seen me use it tim at the paddocks that day i first met you 8)

yea, i realy dont have the money, its just that would be the max i would spend if i had it

if someone offered one for like 500 though, i may be able to scrape it together, it would be hard though

you can buy a helmet cam from JCAR for about $150! I was amazed how good the quality was and how small it was! If you know someone going overseas get them to get a video camera as long as it is PAL! :)

As technology advances the availibility of good products actually gets cheaper the way i see it.
