Rides around Sydney

I have just bought a big hit expert, having ridden roads for many years and am a bit over Oxford Falls and Manly Dam.

I am wondering what downhill (without too much up) tracks people recommend within an hours drive of Sydney.

have you tried red hill? im not sure about any more, as oxford falls, red hill and manly damm are the main ones i know about, so i really should be asling the same question, so try out red hill, the only problem with grizzlies is the walk up, all there is to say is BIG

Some excellent fire roads around i think one of them is up in the part of farkin were it Tell's you were to ride section :? ... how far is ourimbah outta Sydney thats bout an hour isn't it? :?

ourimbah is about an hour and a half from the northern beaches area.

bonus is you can shuttle to the top, so no walking! :D

pfft, do you ride to it or something ? last Sunday we got to ourimbah in 2 hours from Wollongong, but we had no traffic....

Come out to Old Bathurst Rd at Blaxland...some good tracks there....tyhey will test any rider ;)

no way JORDY...... it takes 2 hours to get to newcastle not even that maybe you forgot your map :wink:
