Kona Linkage Plates

Just how often do the linkage plates crack?

i've heard a few tales of cracked linkagese now and i'm getting a bit worried.

Mine bent. BUT it wouldn't have happened if the bolt hadn't have snapped. so check your bolt for bending fairly often and it will all be cool. Also probably depends what bike you are using for what purpose.
