hey i was wondering if anyone could tell me bout the dh freeride tracks on the boarder of nsw and qld.

as far as i know nerang state forest might be your best bet. there's a places that rock article on it in the new amb. mmm, nerangatang... just wish i had the guts to ride it. probably poridge and lilley would be the best people to ask on here (that i know of).

Goonengary national park has afew little track but you cant take 4wd'd in which sucks ass!

there are a number of tracks about the gold coast DH'r king. As already stated Nerang State Forest has a killer DH track thanks to some recent hard work by some good mtb people. There is Mount Tamborine, 4km DH (with 2 very small pushes ineterupting the trip down). And there is Blacksnots, some good jumping and trail riding These are the more well-known tracks and their are a couple of other DH tracks and freeride areas that are semi secret. PM me for details if you like. Plenty around to keep you interested...

i've ridden the first half of nerangatang, i couldn't concour the teeter then to the drop, i'm doin that next time i go ttho.great tracks tho
